About Us

What is FMA?

The Financial Management Association, International was established in 1970 to develop a continuing relationship between finance practitioners and academicians and to facilitate the transfer of ideas, techniques, and advances in the field of finance between universities, businesses, and other institutions.

Membership in FMA offers finance students an opportunity that cannot be gained from classroom instruction - the opportunity to present yourself as a professional.

Benefits of FMA Membership:

Publications - Students receive a variety of periodicals which:

- Offer cutting edge information on the latest trends in financial practice

- Present the latest information on both traditional and non-traditional careers in finance

- Offer strategic techniques for the job search - gathering from successful professionals in the field

Affiliates

Through membership in the FMA, students have the opportunity to interact with finance professionals, academicians, and their peers in an environment that is conductive to forging long-lasting and mutually beneficial relationships.
